After surgery to remove fallopian tube is it possible for remaining tube to "pick up" egg from opposite overly? some dr's say yes some say impossible.

NOT impossible: Just chances very low. Ectopic pregnancies as well as intrauterine pregnancies have been reported in cases with one ovary/opposite tube. It is not impossible, but best guess is around 100 times less likely.
