Depends: Depending upon the fever height and its cause, use of anti-pyretics like Aspirin and acetaminophen, combined with tepid towel baths, or immersion in luke-warm water will help. If this is due to heat exhaustion or stroke, this patient should be seen immediately by professionals, and even with ice-baths it may be difficult to control the fever.
