alternative to abilify for avoiding weight gain? also taking 100mg pristiq (desvenlafaxine).

Talk with the doctor: There are several newer antipsychotics that are thought to have less weight gain like lurasidone, asenapine, iloperidone and ziprasidone. You may want to talk to the prescribing doctor to see if one is appropriate for you!
