If u had pre term labour@35 wks, how would u ever know it was from an incompetent cervix? (cervix measured fine @ 33wks).

You answered: I think you answered your own question. If your cervical length and dilation were normal at 33 weeks then your had preterm labor and not an incompetent cervix. An incompetent cervix typical shows in the 2nd trimester.
