Discuss with doctor: There are four parameters measured during a MCA doppler. Usually this is done to confirm fetal well being in cases of suspect fetal growth problems or fetal anemia. To interpret specific results for specific situations you will need to discuss with your doctor who has all of your wife's clinical background and test results. The MCA should be interpreted with this in mind.

Discuss with your Dr: Please discuss the MCA pi results with your obstetrician. He has the complete medical record of your wife and can best explain the result of this study, which has to be corroborated with the results of other studies done and above all with the clinical findings.
