Get more sleep.: Eyelid twitching is due to overacting nerve impulses to the eyelid muscles. Reduction of caffeine, nicotine or stress will help. Stop burning the candle at both ends and get more real sleep. It may take a week or more for these solutions to work but no real harm is done from the twicthing. Rarely, the twitching is a spasm and might require Botox injections so you should see an ophthalmologist.
