A member asked:

Fordyce bumps aren't suppose to be associated with pain/itching but after using neosporin, the itching subsides...can it be fordyce indeed ?

Itching with Fordyce: They aren't supposed to itch. But the number one and two issues that could be causing itching there could be dry skin or a fungal infection. The petroleum base in the neosporin could just be suppressing the itching from another cause.

Fordyce bumps: Try using just vaseline or lip balm and see if it stops itching. May be associated with birth control pills. Did this start after starting bc pills? Where are the bumps?
