A member asked:

Are linseeds helpful for weight loss? if so, do they have any side effects?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Theoretically: Linseeds add fibre, and they might increase your metabolic rate as they are relatively high in essential fatty acids. This could lead to weight loss. As to side effects, if you eat too many seeds with not enough water it could lead to bowel obstruction. I prefer a balanced, lower fat and carbohydrate and physical activity for weight loss. Good luck.
