A member asked:

What are some of the side effects of weight loss drugs?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: It depends on which drugs you mean. In the case of what are called stimulants, such as Phentermine or adipex, the side-effects can be substantial and significant and may include jitteryness, insomnia, anxiety, agitation, depression and even psychosis and paranoia. One needs to carefully weight the risks and benefits of any treatment with the risks and benefits of not having the treatment.
