May be normal: There will be normal ups and downs in appetite at this age. Make sure he is still eating regularly and acting satisfied. Drooling may be due to increased stimulation of his mouth with his hands. Make sure his nose is clear so he can breathe through it (or he will keep his mouth open to breathe and drool more)- use nasal saline and a bulb syringe to suction it out whenever needed.
