Eat healthy/Exercise: Do not get into any of the stuff you are talking about. Go after the proven interventions. Eat low fat -plant based diet and exercise daily. These interventions will lower your LDL and increase the HDL level(use of unsaturated fats found in fish, nuts and in avocados) can also help. Avoid saturated fats(found in dairy products and in animal fats/meats).
