Coccydynia: Although there are a number of possibilities, it seems probable that you have developed a condition known as coccydynia. This does not require that you actually fractured your tailbone to cause it. If it is bad enough, a single injection of cortisone given into the coccyx often takes care of it and verifies the diagnosis as well. Thank you.
