JRA: Yes, unfortunately there is. The most common systemic inflammatory arthritis that affects young people is called juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, or jra for short.

Yes: There are many inheritable forms of arthritis. They belong to a family of disorders called autoimmune diseases. There is juvenile idiopathic arthritis (formerly juv rhematoid or jra), but that typically occurs younger. There are also conditions like psoriasis, sjogrens, lupus, and ankylosing spondylitis to name a few. Consultation with your primary care doc or a rheumatologist would be useful.
