Are icd's remote monitors? i mean, can the dr see if anything's wrong with me or the icd remotely? or only when i go in for a check up?

ICDs: Many of the newer icds have a remote monitoring capability. The data in the icd can be transmitted to the monitoring center and called up by the dr. Not all have this function and the older ones don't have this capability.
