Depends on staus of : The eye. Is there support to place an iol posteriotly or can one be placed in position with sutures. Also, depends in what you and the surgeon are comfortable doing. A contact lens is an option.

Ill fitting: iols should be replaced. Generally the cornea is happier when the lens is behind the Iris. The iol can be sutured there with many different techniques. It would be ideal to have a barrier between the front and back of thr eye, so preferably an iol is placed. This should help with the CME and cornea. Good luck.
