If diagnosed with uti/ecoli & got two rounds of antibiotic thru iv, is that enough antibiotic to kill it? do i have to take antibiotic by mouth?

depends on…: What IV antibiotics u were given ; whether the e. Coli is sensitive to either one. Urine culture should be able to determine this info but may take couple days for results. If still having UTI symptoms, may be best to start oral ab's until culture results back. Then doc can decide whether to stop/continue oral ab.
