chest pain: For a young woman with persistent chest pain, and a normal cardiac evaluation, other causes need to be considered. Muscle, rib, breast causes should be checked. If the chest xray, ecg, stress test are normal, then the next considerations would be an echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart) to investigate the pericardium and the valves. Ct scan of the chest can examine the pleura and lung tissue.
