A member asked:

Is it safe to drink mineral water during pregnancy? i've heard that it contain fluoride. the taste of tap water makes me nausea. this is my week 9

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Mineral water: Avoid mineral water as it may contain high levels of minerals thatch alter baby's development. Better off with tap water as levels of minerals are controlled to be in safe range (Fluoride in tap water is good for your baby's developing teeth which begins about 3 months in utero). Filtered water theoretically contains no minerals, helpful or harmful. Make sure you are taking pre-natal vitamins.
