Venous congestion?: Likely congestion in the veins related to the boot or wrap. This is not a serious problem and will likely resolve as foot heals. Un ultrasound, however, will rule out a clot and should be considered by your doctor if concerned.

Your foot is healing: There is more blood flow going to your injured foot to aid in the healing process. This will usually cause it to be a different color than the other foot, especially in the shower. It should return to a more normal color quickly.
