It depends on: The type of sinus lift - external or internal. Internal ones are quite painless and done as part of the implant placement. Consult with your doctor. Hope this helps.

sinus lift: This procedure is usually done in preparation for placing an implant if so it is correct also it may be used to seal an oral antral fistula there will be discomfort usually for about 3 days post op, but it can be dealt with by using proper prescribed pain meds.
