Is it true that too much elemental calcium in the blood (over 2500 mg) may cause calcium toxicity?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: That dose is dangerously high. They is little reason to take any calcium supplements, especially that high a dose. This dose can cause kidney stones and accelerate arteriosclerosis among other side effects.
