Congestion: If it's after you lay in bed it can be a number of factors: allergies to dust mites, fabric softeners. Detergents, scents, pets in the bed, open windows or a bedtime snack (ice cream). Reflux (gerd) is worse when lying down and can cause congestion. Merely being flat causes some increase in nasal congestion which can tip you over the edge if you have infections or allergies. No otc nasal sprays!
