UPJ obstruction: Relieving the obstruction on the left side, and improved function, may take the pressure of the right kidney and may not be a problem. It needs to be followed closely with repeated scans and renal u/s.

Sounds good hands: I think anytime your baby is going to have surgery it's normal to be concern. Sounds like your in good hands and they will be monitoring the right kidney.
