Complication?: Usually gas from laparoscopic surgery left in the abdomen is not a problem after about 24 hours. Other causes need to be evaluated if pain is still present after 3 days , such as bowel injury, or bladder injury, or muscle strain. Severe complications may not be the case, but have to be considered.

Patience: That being said, if the pain is getting worse or you have associated fever you need to speak immediately to your surgeon. Not knowing what was done during your surgery, the possibility may exist of some type of leak, or infection. At least call the doctor and let him know your situation and let him decide how to follow this.
