What would a pulse rate of 130 mean for someone of a healthy weight & active life, when all they did was go from sitting to standing?

Pulse rate of 130: Pulse rate of 130 in sitting to standing position is considered tachycardia and it is abnormal. If it is one time event it can be due to many causes includind anxiety or caffeine consumption. But if it is persistent then it needs to be evaluated and blood test and ekg needs to be done, to see the rhythm. It may be benign tachy or due to overactive thyroid or some other cause. If itis so see ur doctor.

You might be dry: If you are an active individual and you are not hydrating your self properly this may manifest as a sudden increase in heart rate with standing plus a light headed feeling. See your doctor and ask him for proper hydration instructions and to make sure your heart is healthy.
