You are alive:-): The digestion process is very complex, but it is marked by the movement of food through the stomach and the intestines. This is a process of contractions or squeezing of the hollow organs and the presence of substances created by the body causes growling sounds know as bms (bowel movements). It is normal. If you don't have pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation or bleeding don't worry.

Indigestion: Indigestion is the easiest guess. How often does this occur? Try an antacid, and if it doesn't help or if this recurrs, see your physician.

Hiatus hernia.: I'm not completely sure what you mean, but you could be referring to a hiatus hernia, which is a condition where the upper part of the stomach protrudes into the chest through a tear or weakness in the diaphragm. This can cause shortness of breath, coughing, vomiting, and severe reflux. It often requires correction with surgery.

Not well: The organism is killed by stomach acid so those with diminished levels of gastric acid are more susceptible. If you ingest enough, some danger through.

Agree. Antacids taken soon before the vibrio is ingested cause significant risk. This happened to me once.
