Psychotherapy: Medications are needed in bipolar disorder, yet are not the whole of treatment. Psychotherapy can be supportive, and help you with health anxieties and ongoing life issues. "psychosomatic" does not mean "imaginary" -- just that your emotions affect your physical body and vice versa. You still need your meds ; general health checkups, but ask your psychiatrist for a psychologist referral.

Talk Therapy: First, congratulations on getting the right meds and sticking to them! it always makes me happy to hear about people with bipolar doing well. You don't mention that you are in therapy. Talk to your psychiatrist. If your symptoms are psychosomatic they can usually be treated with talk therapy. Best wishes and good luck.
