Overlap or not : Usually and depending on how long one has been taking a certain medication , we try to overlap one medicine is tapered down and one is tapered up. However we do stop meds and switch without taper sometimes. Your prescribing doctor is the best to judge your situation, please discuss that with him. Good luck and feel better.
