i was told i had scabies about a week ago i got treatment asap after putting it on it on seemed to get worse and spread to places i don't want it?

Scabies: It is very possible that you did not have scabies at all. If your practitioner did not scrape the lesions actually see the mites, the possibility of scabies is lessened. Sometimes the medicines given for presumptive scabies can be quite irritating in their own right. That means that you should definitely see a dermatologist and get this assessed properly. You may or may not even have scabies.
