Pulse pressure: Usually resting pressure gap (pulse pressure) is upto 30 to 40 mm hg. Yours is between 50 to 60 mm hg. A high resting pulse pressure (pressure difference >100 mm hg) is harmful and tends to accelerate the normal aging of body organs, particularly the heart, the brain and kidneys. Your pulse pressure is slightly on higher side because of vasoconstrictors that you are on.
