Pregnancy should not: Pregnancy does not ordinarily affect blood sugar unless you are prone to diabetes. The normal sugar, done fasting , should be between 60 to 99 mg/dl. Anything over 100mg would be of concern. The test is simple to run...Just ask for fasting blood sugar level and it can be done in any lab, although the lab may ask for a doctor's order or contact info where they can send the report of the blood test.
