What is the average number of people you infect if you have seasonal flu?

Unlimited: Cannot be answered. It depends on when you encounter others while you are shedding the virus. Also, are you staying at home, walking around in a mall, going to work, going to the airport, how many places you are visiting, how many people you encounter. But then all those people you infect can then infect others.

1.0001: For an epidemic to sustain itself, r0 (the average number of people that a sick individual infects) must be greater then 1.0000.
