Forget it: If you've been having unprotected intercourse, assume he already has it. Not to worry. You can both keep an eye on him, and if any premalignant-type lesions pop up, he can be treated. This isn't a shameful or dread disease -- hpv16 is quite common. Be smart, keep under cancer surveillance, and it's almost certain not to hurt either of you badly.
