This is a Myth: There is no scientific data to support the notion that cancer spreads fast after surgery (or when cancer is exposed to air during surgery). This is a total myth. This belief tends to be more common in the south.

If a person had a type of cancer found early at stage 1, successful surgery and determined it did not spread. Could cancer then reappear in the body a year later after several clear check ups? Even after they found it had not spread initially?
