A member asked:

Normal for my eyes to black out if i get up too quickly?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes and No: If you don't have high blood pressure get up very quickly and the black out lasts only a second or two it may be normal. If you have high blood pressure and are on medication it usually is a sign of orthostatic hypotension for which you should see your family doctor. In either case if the black out lasts a longer time you must see an eye md.
