Arm raising in sleep: You should see a sleep disorders specialist for approximate history and testing. Some causes could include a nighttime seizure disorder, a movement disorder secondary to sleep apnea or a rem behavior disorder. Contact your local sleep lab for an evaluation. Other such cases are scattered throughout the internet. You are not alone. I've seen a videotape of this once aas well.
