Allergy or Virus: It can be an allergic reaction or a viral rash like hand, foot, and mouth disease which is causing appearance of the small red bumps. If it is allergic take some oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or loratadine. Apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. If symptoms persist get an evaluation done by a dermatologist. Treatment can be then started.
