Infection?: While occasional itching in the urethra can be normal, persistent itching may be a sign of infection or other issue. Urinary tract infection, yeast infection, sexually transmitted diseases, contact dermatitis or other issues may be causing this. You should make an appointment to see you primary care doctor for an examination to begin to figure this out if it is an ongoing or worsening problem.
