Perhaps: A true fever blister will not 'transfer' to any other area. However, many people have re-activation of old herpes infections (cold sores) during times of stress, which a fever is. These lesions do contain some active herpes virus and can indeed be 'transferred' to other areas if directly touching them and then areas without intact skin in place. So you really need to know which is which.
