Fever blisters : There is not cure for fever blisters. However, keeping low level of stress and avoid excessive sun exposure can reduce out breaks. If outbreaks are frequently then a suppression therapy is needed with an antiviral prescribed by a dermatologist or other provider.

No cure: Lysine is a joke. Topicals do so little they are a waste of money. Protection from UV (sun) reduces incidence. The only effective remedy is to take a large dose of acyclovir or valacyclovir at the very first hint (prodrome) that an attack is about to begin.
