Can a woman get uti every time after sex?

Possibly: Sexual activity may create swelling of the urethra (tube from bladder to outside) or to the urethral outlet. This is a form of physiologic obstruction which can predispose to secondary uti. Women with this problem can be placed on prophylactic antibiotics which will help to minimize this.
