Can a bladder infections cause mid back pain?

Yes it can!: A bladder infection can occasionally work its way up from the bladder to the kidney which is in the mid-back area. If the kidney gets infected, it is much more serious. Tensing of your back muscles from the bladder infection can also cause back pain from crampy tensed muscles. Best to call and see your doctor to let the doctor determine if the kidney is infected as well or not!
