A member asked:

After surgery is the incision wound suppose to be hard?

A doctor has provided 1 answer
Dr. Bret Boyle answered

Specializes in Wound care

Maybe: Because inflammation due to the trauma of surgery can cause fluid collection and "induration" which is a hard feel to the tissue.
