6 months to live with secondary bone cancer from lung, what should i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Clinical trials: This is not bone cancer. It is lung cancer that has metastasized (travelled) to the bones. This is stage 4. There are different types of lungs cancer (nonsmall cell, small cell...). Some has certain mutations (abnormal genes) that can be targeted with new drugs (crizotinib for alk+ lung cancer, tarceva (erlotinib) or egfr + lung cancer...). You should also discuss with your doctor about clinical trials.
