Beer after ext. : Drinking beer itself will not be harmful to you after extraction. However, if you are taking any narcotic pain medicine such as tylenol (acetaminophen) 3, vicodin, or percocet, etc., or if you took relaxing drug such as valium or halcion, pre-op, alcohol will affect your body's critical functions (heart, breathing, balance, etc). As your doctor should know all about your med history, it is best to ask your dr.
