Multiple: Skin specialists recommend face washes based on the condition of the person's skin and what they want to achieve. Using witch hazel will dry out the skin because it has alcohol (not great for the face) and benzoyl peroxide is drying, has some antibacterial action, and is helpful for acne. If your face is dry, you may want a less drying cleanser; if oily, you can try salicylic acid.
