Rotten tooth: If it is not repaired, it can lead to an infection of the tooth and the mouth, causing swelling and pain. It can also cause the tooth to fracture, also causing swelling and pain.

Results: The results of the tooth decay are the determiners of how it affects the body. Does it create an infected tooth, does it affect your eating habits, do you avoid chewing on one side, do you avoid certain foods...Don't let the decay endure. Get it taken care of.

Many: A decayed tooth can cause an abscess that might lead to massive infection that can spread to kneeboarding tissues depending on the location of that tooth.

Rotten teeth: In addition to the expected pain and swelling, decayed teeth can cause infections that result in loss of bone, affect adjacent teeth, spread to other parts of the body causing serious complications and have actually been known to cause death. I personally know of several cases. Nothing to fool around with. Seek treatment right away.

Infection. Can cause localized pain, swelling, halitosis, damage to gums/bone. Can spread to adjacent teeth. Infection can travel through blood stream to other organ systems. Please see Dentist ASAP.
