HIFU: Focused ultrasound is a highly touted form of prostate cancer salvage, usually after radiotherapy or cryotherapy failures. The mr provides "eyes" to guide where the sound waves are to be aimed. It is worthy of discussion with your advocating urologist, but salvage treatment has to have some risks to potency, continence and tissue injury. Be wary of rates, it's new.
