Bleeding !: Around the world, maternal hemorrhage, followed by infection causes most of the pregnancy related deaths. In the U.S. Maternal mortality is calculated in deaths per100, 000 live births. It is in fact, very low. An ectopic or tubal pregnancy can cause death by hemorrhage and is one of the leading causes.
