Variety=Fun & Safe: Agree with dr. S's great tips. Also would add: variety. Mix up activities. Do other things besides soccer. Follow the seasons & play other sports. Kids who play only one sport year round use only certain sets of muscles and are more prone to injure themselves [like acl tears of their knee]. Also they may burn out. Let's keep it safe and fun.
